About

I'm Illya Starikov — a software engineer, born in Ukraine and based in San Francisco. I'm at Google, most recently working on Google Beam (formerly Project Starline).

I earned my BS and MS in computer science at Missouri S&T between 2014 and 2018, and I've been writing about computers, science, and the tangents in between at starikov.co ↗ ever since. This site is the workshop behind that writing — everything I've built, kept like a wiki.

A neofetch-style GitHub profile card: an ASCII portrait beside live stats — repositories, stars, commits, and top languages — that regenerate daily.
The live card, straight from the profile repo — light or dark to match your system.

résumé & cv

Built in LaTeX — a one-page résumé and a longer CV, each in light and dark. The recruiter with thirty seconds wants the first; anyone who wants the whole story wants the second.

Or read it on the web at resume.starikov.io ↗.
